CONSULTATION: To discuss how YOU want to be photographed and to plan the wardrobe & styling.
WARDROBE STYLING & CONSULTATION - Enjoy limited pieces in our studio wardrobe for your shoot. Or bring some of your favorite outfits from home.
IMAGE REVEAL AND ORDERING SESSION: Where you see your images at the studio (or on zoom) and select your gifted image and order your favorites after your photo shoot.
PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE: You will receive one fine art matted portrait with matching high resolution digital image (a $350 value). Additional photographs and products are available for purchase.

WHY OVER 40, WHY ME, AND WHY NOW?
My name is Maria, I am an Arlington-based portrait photographer with a studio in Medford, MA. I have been a professional photographer for eight years. I began my photography journey as a maternity and birth photographer. I have captured women as they became wives, mothers, and early careerists devoting themselves to families and employers, often forgetting that they too mattered and were special. The 40 OVER 40 PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE is the most powerful portrait experience I have worked on and I can't wait to meet YOU!
Personally, I am widely-travelled. My favorite travel destination is Havana, Cuba where I have often captured ballet, flamenco, contemporary, and Afro Cuban dancers. A little known fact about me is that I am a trained social, cultural, and medical anthropologist.
I also continue to occasionally serve as a birth doula.
This shoot will be TRANSFORMATIONAL. The revolution is within YOU ... and I want to bring it out! Join me for this fun and incredible experience.

I will capture your story through asking you questions about stepping into your power after 40, what beauty means to you, etc. Your story will showcase the portrait series at the 40 OVER 40 exhibition and in promotional materials so that we can share how FABULOUS you are!
Your words may be shared on my website, blog, and social media.
Your “Before and After” makeover photos may be shown.

Glammed up or natural/refined, it's all up to YOU! Light hairstyling for picture perfect results.

Covergirl for a day! You will enjoy an expertly guided magazine-style photoshoot.
Not photogenic? Nonsense! It is not your job to be. I've got YOU! It is my job to connect, make you comfortable, and to show you in your best light with flattering posing.
